Bernice Davis, Psy.D.

 

Dr. Bernice Davis earned her Psy.D. in Clinical Psychology from the Illinois School of Professional Psychology in 1993, and her B.S. in Applied Psychology from Loyola University of Chicago with a minor in Anthropology.  As a licensed psychologist, she has worked in an array of community outpatient and home based settings providing therapeutic services to individuals, families, couples and seniors.  Dr. Davis joined Comprehensive Senior Psychology Services in 2017, and brings over 21 years of clinical experience and expertise, along with a psychodynamic and cognitive behavioral clinical orientation that is solution focused.

Dr. Davis  believes in providing a confidential and affirming environment to support clients as they work through challenging and difficult life experiences.  Dr. Davis is an active member of the American Psychological Association, and the New Jersey Psychological Association. Her clinical interests include, cultural psychology, depression, affective disorders, anxiety, ptsd, grief, childhood disorders and developmental disabilities. In addition to enjoying spending family time with her husband and two children, Dr. Davis enjoys yoga, reading, travel, cultural events, and visiting farms.
